I started out as a bereavement counsellor with Cruse Bereavement Care and went on to do a Diploma and BA(Hons) in Person Centred Counselling at Metanoia Institute in London. Most recently I have trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for treatment of trauma. Though I have stayed as a bereavement counsellor I have also worked at a University counselling service and a private clinic. I have worked with victims of domestic violence and sexually abused clients whether recent assaults or childhood abuse. I have experience in working with clients from different religious and cultural backgrounds and being Swedish myself I, know how difficult it can be to express emotions in a foreign language. I have also worked with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, low self esteem and I welcome clients to bring any issue and if I feel unable to help I will refer you to someone I believe can. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, BACP and adhere to their ethical framework. I am also a member of Metanoia Institute and the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute (UK). ![]() |
